I believe the best trips aren’t built from somebody else’s top-ten list. They start with understanding how you like to travel, what matters to you, what isn’t worth your time or money, and what you will remember long after you have unpacked.
I bring a spreadsheet brain to the human bits: the room that makes sense for how you use it, the transfer you will be grateful for, and the afternoon left open on purpose.
My deepest personal travel experience is in the US and Europe, but my planning is not limited to either. I plan thoughtful trips anywhere in the world, using the same practical questions, careful research, and healthy suspicion of a hotel description that says it is “steps from” anything.
